Thus, on November 11, Almaty handed over the torch of the International Festival to Taraz, where an official forum will be held with the participation of officials of the two countries. On November 15, guests and participants of the International Festival "Traveling along the Great Silk Road of Kazakhstan" will be welcomed by the sunny city of Shymkent.
The Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan informed that the official closing ceremony of the "Year of China’s Tourism in Kazakhstan" will be held on November 17 in Astana with the participation of over one thousand official representatives and business representatives of the two states. At the closing ceremony, the Chinese side will present a sample of Chinese classical art - the ballet "Silk Road and Flower Rain", based on the stories depicted in the frescoes of Gansu Province in combination with Chinese, Persian, Indian and Turkish styles.
It should be noted that Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev together with Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in the Joint Declaration on further development of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China announced 2017 - the Year of China's Tourism in Kazakhstan.
