During the meeting, the Head of State paid attention to the fact that the main objectives of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry are to create own weapons for the Kazakh army on the basis of advanced scientific and technological achievements, to develop the aerospace sphere and provide cybersecurity.
"The Ministry is currently in charge of the industries, which previously belonged to the competence of various departments. The Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry is among the first state bodies using advanced innovative developments", Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
The Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry informed the President of Kazakhstan about the results of the work done and plans in the medium term.
