Thus, the Chamber ratified the General Agreement on economic, technical and trade cooperation between the member countries of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation.
The purpose of the document is legal consolidation of the principles of trade, economic and scientific cooperation between the member countries of the OIC.
The General Agreement will allow consolidation of the joint efforts of Kazakhstan and the OIC member-countries to achieve common interests aimed at the establishment of well-being and prosperity of peoples.
Senator Askhat Kuzekov noted that the OIC member countries are of interest to our country as sales markets of agricultural production. He stressed that Kazakhstan intends to strengthen cooperation through the General Agreement in the areas of: trade, investments, science and technology.
Senators also ratified the agreement with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on granting Kazakhstan a loan of 80 million dollars.
The means provided by IBRD will be used to support the introduction of the national system of obligatory social health insurance, the strengthening of the health care delivery system, as well as monitoring, evaluation and communication strategy of the social health insurance project.
Speaking in support of the bill, Senator Serik Bekturganov drew attention to the task of the authorized body - the Ministry of Health - to create the new integrated system of interaction between participants in the process of protecting the health of citizens at all levels from primary health care to the Ministry.
