It is noted that in the city since the beginning of the year in the organizations that provide outpatient care to the population, there were 1,271,917 visits. In general, for the reporting period in 2017, the average number of visits per resident for all outpatient and polyclinic organizations in the city of Astana was 1.29.

In January-March this year, the local budget has provided treatment to 7,573 patients with infectious and anti-tuberculosis diseases, as well as narcological and psychiatric disorders. At the same time, within the republican budget, 1,929 beds work in the city of Astana", the message reads.
In accordance with the Decree of the Government of Kazakhstan dated December 15, 2009 № 2136 "On approval of the list of guaranteed amount of free medical care", the guaranteed volume of free medical care is provided to citizens of Kazakhstan and oralmans at the expense of budgetary funds and includes preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic medical services with effectiveness.
The services of free medical care include: ambulance, air medical service and outpatient care.
"As of March 31 this year there are 36 medical organizations operating in the capital under the jurisdiction of the health department, including 7 hospitals, 3 perinatal centers, 1 dispensary, 3 centers, 16 outpatient clinics, of which 12 city polyclinics, 1 primary health care organization ("Demeu"), 3 family practice centers ("Shipager", "Niet", "Dostyk"), the AIDS Center and the 1st city emergency station", the city health department said.
In addition, the city's population is served by 9 hospitals of national importance and 16 private medical organizations that provide services in the 24-hour and day hospitals.
