According to the Governor's office of Astana city, the results of the first five-year plan of the State Program of Forced Industrial-Innovative Development for 2010-2014 were generally favorable for Astana. However, according to A.Dzhaksybekov, it is necessary to take into account the current economic situation in the world and judge from the Address "Nurly Zhol". Firstli it is necessary to focus on attracting investments, including foreign investments.
Under the Industrialization Map 22 projects worth 167.8 billion tenge, with the creation of over 3 million jobs had been already implemented.
The volume of production for the period from 2010 to 2014 amounted to 157.8 billion tenge, 0.2 billion tenge of them in 2010, 3.9 billion tenge in2011, 9.0 billion tenge in 2012, 54.7 billion tenge in 2013 and 90 billion tenge in 2014. For 2014 the volume of production amounted to more than 90 billion tenge, having increased by 1.6 times compared to 2013 year. The manufacturing industry produced goods worth 270.8 billion tenge, that is, the increase of 41.5 billion tenge in comparison with 2013 year.
Nowadays the Governor’s office considers the possibility of implementing joint projects with the foreign investors, implemented in the Industrial park.
"Now all our plans will be adjusted towards less public investment and more aimed at the attracting the private investment, which in the future will stabilize the economic situation in the capital. And I hope that we will feel full support of the Ministry of Investment and Development in this direction", A.Dzhaksybekov said.
In turn, Asset Issekeshev has expressed the interest in strengthening the cooperation of the Ministry of Investment and Development with the Governor’s office of the capital, in particular, he paid attention to the implementation of joint projects aimed at the tourist attraction in Astana. The Minister said that joint activity will allow to build the work in the realization of the projects of the industrial-innovative orientation.
Following the results of the meeting, A.Dzhaksybekov and A.Issekeshev identified the ways of further cooperation and agreed to develop a joint action plan aimed at improving the social and economic well-being of residents of the capital.
