Izhevsky cooperative supplied about 140 mln eggs to Astana markets (PHOTOS)

Within the food belt around the Kazakhstan’s capital, Izhevsky cooperative located in Akmola region supplied about 140 million eggs to Astana markets.

During the working visit to Arshaly region, Governor of Akmola region Sergey Kulagin inspected animal feed mill Izhevsky cooperative  and egg processing shop.

According to Governor’s Office, the cooperative is an elite-seed farm. In recent years, reconstructed with the installation of new technological equipment feed mill, dairy farm, horse farm, shop for meat and milk processing.

The investments at the expense of own funds over the last five years amounted to more than two billion tenge.

Production cooperative has 21,462 hectares of land, including arable land - 15,296 hectares. In 2014, grain yield was 18.3 t/ha.  In addition, 138 million 355 thousand eggs, pieces of meat - 5758.2 centners of meat, 1077.3 tons of milk produced last year. The products are delivered to the markets of Astana and areas of the region. 700 people involved in the production process. The salary is 112 thousand tenge.

It should be noted the social sphere of the region is also in the focus. Thus, within the framework of corporate social responsibility sponsors support in the amount of 3 million tenge was provided for Izhevsk secondary school and low-income citizens.
